October in Review — “Fleeting Moments” and New Beginnings

October was such a beautiful, full month for me in the studio and beyond. I had the joy of submitting my painting, Fleeting Moments, to the Rose Festival Art Exhibition put on by the Palette of Roses Art League — and to my surprise and gratitude, it won first place in my division overall! I met so many kind, talented artists and art lovers there, and the whole experience reminded me how special it is to share art in person with others who truly appreciate it.

This month also marked the launch of my new website, which now has updated galleries, commission information, and a bit more about my process. I’ve also been hard at work on a few new paintings that I can’t wait to share with you soon.

Another new adventure has been live painting on Thursday nights at Bob Wells Nursery in Mineola. The atmosphere there is so full of life — vibrant, welcoming, and alive with conversation and creativity. Painting in that environment and meeting new faces has quickly become one of my favorite parts of the week.
